Global knowledge for local water challenges.

BIA is preparing a technical mission to World Water Week 2026 to expand knowledge, cooperation and response capacity in water infrastructure.

Stockholm, Sweden23–27 August 2026Water for People and Progress

The mission follows a technical agenda focused on current approaches to water security, resilient infrastructure, governance and cooperation that can be applied in Bolivia.

The event brings together public institutions, international organisations, researchers, companies and civil society. For BIA, the value of this exchange lies in translating global learning into concrete design and management decisions for rural and urban contexts.

Technical agenda

01

Learn

Update criteria on water security, climate adaptation and safe access to water.

02

Connect

Identify institutions and technical cooperation mechanisms relevant to Bolivia.

03

Apply

Turn knowledge and contacts into verifiable improvements for future projects.

The journey ends when knowledge returns.

BIA will prepare a technical mission report, organise the contacts established and assess collaboration opportunities aligned with its areas of work. Public information will be updated after the event with verifiable results.
